Holding a doctorate with an executive management focus and two masters' degrees, Dr. Watson also earned specialty certifications in areas of orthopedic physical therapy, aging-in-place, practice management, change management, and process improvement. He serves on multiple boards and in Christian ministries.
Rena Watson is a wealth of knowledge and experience from her former career as a top-level mergers and acquisition (M&A) executive and as a seasoned marketing and promotions specialist. Rena successfully led and managed sizable organizations in a variety of economic sectors. She has executed, directed, or coordinated billions of dollars in M&A transactions. Holding an MBA and BS in chemical engineering, Rena is also a nutritional biochemist and environmental chemical engineer.
James Derfel has 20+ years of experience in the automotive industry and is adept in serving and improving company systems while supporting and valuing people. He joined the Watson Companies in the summer of 2021 with a desire to help small businesses thrive. His role is to help coordinate and lead projects, serve the company and their customers and to hold high standards of excellence as we invest, serve and grow.
Terry Helms helps small businesses make better decisions by leaning on his 19 years of Fortune 500 and 15 years of non-profit experience. Terry was the chief marketing officer for two organizations that grew to No. 2 in their US markets. As a consultant he worked with 50+ colleges and universities in addition to a variety of small businesses ranging from retail to manufacturing to service. He earned his MBA from Rollins College.
